Bush's Brother: On the ChiCom Payroll? -
11-26-2003, 02:48 PM
In his divorce proceedings, Neil Bush, younger brother of GeeDubya, has admitted under oath to being on the payroll of Grace Semiconductor, a company with very close ties to the Chinese government. It's pricipal patron is the son of Chinese powerbroker Jiang Zemin (former President of China). One Grace contract is with a conduit to the People's Liberation Army Air Force. What does Mr. Bush do for them? Apparently nothing, for which he is being paid $2,000,000 in stock as compensation for the contract he signed with them in 2002.
According to the deposition which was released today, Bush has "absolutely no background in semiconductors", and that he had no extensive background in business that would justify the compensation. He was also deposed on other sweetheart deals, such as a consulting contract with Crest Investments that paid him $5000 per week for "answering the phone" when the Chairman called. He averages 3 to 4 hours per week with Crest. This all fromt he man who cost US taxpayers over One Billion Dollars when his Savings & Loan, Silverado S&L, went belly up during the S&L scandals of the late 80s. So let's ask some questions, here. If GW is tryign to protray himself as squeaky clean, and if the GOP felt able to point fingers at Clinton and call him a dupe of the Chinese, then what do we say about this? We have the President's very own brother accepting millions of dollars from a Chinese defense contractor for what is basically a no-show job. Wow. Again... wow. What do you think the CHinese are trying to buy here? Neil's expertise on semiconductors? The best way to scam the American government into bailing out a bank? Or influence over the President and our defense? If you picked answer three... Some other hysterical tidbits from the story... On trips to Thailand & Hong Kong, Bush admits to having engaged in "sex romps" with multiple women. Were they hookers? Bush doesn't know-- according to him they just "showed up at {my} door and had sex with me". He admits this is "very unusual", lol. What a dope. Now we have him on a CHinese defense contractors payroll... and is it possible, just possible, that if this dope is accepting sex from hookers in Thailand and Hong Kong that maybe, just maybe, the CHinese, who have always used the "honey trap" as one of their espionage recruiting tactics, just might have gotten film of the President's brother in compromising situations? If it wasn't so dumb it would be hysterical. ![]() My question is this: Why does anyone still doubt that Dubya is corrupt? He's a Republican so he's harder to catch and damn near impossible to stick anything to. That's the only difference. ![]() .. what would the spin on this story be? So Neil, how can you explain being caught on camera with 3 underage girls? "Well, I was having relations with my dear loving wife while on holiday in Thailand, when 3 armed Chinese cameramen stormed into my hotel room and demanded I have sex with 3 underage Thai girls ... I had no choice, they had guns ... "

Just comparing Clinton and Dubya and even ignoring Monica, think about Whitewater and Paula Jones compared to the Haliburton thing and... well I can't think of another example right now for Dubya that actually involved him in someway. And it's ludicrious to try to tar and feather a president by using their relatives. An old saying goes, you can choose your friends but not your family...as far as i've seen there has been nothing against GW himself in the scandal department, something that can't be said about the previous occupant of the White House. Show me some solid evidence rather than gossip and innuendo that there've been improprieties and i'll join the call to oust GW. Wow, I thought this was a great baseball site and it turns out I stumbled into the inner sanctum of the DNC. In the words of Tony Bruno, "Be-auti-ful".
Not defending Bush, mind you, but how exactly are the actions of his brother being linked/compared to the actions of Senator Clinton and her brother? I don't care much for politics or politicians, but I always thought that the right wing attacked Clinton on his misdeeds (or perceived misdeeds). I kinda like Bush II. Very few presidents I can say that about in my lifetime. The only prez I really detested was LBJ, but even he had some good points. I liked Reagan, but that was mainly due to the fact my Dad was an officer in the USAF at the time and then I went on to be an officer in the USAF and appreciated the money he was throwing my way. I didn't even really dislike Clinton that much, I just thought for as smart as he was he got himself into a heap of trouble that could/should have been avoided. |

You say "My question is this: Why does anyone still doubt that Dubya is corrupt?", and you don't even mention what that corruption is. What corruption are you talking about? If it is because his brother is an idiot, well so was Bill Clinton's and Jimmy Carters and JFK's. None of those cases rise to the level of corruption. Look, there may actually be "corruption" in this administration, and by this president personally, but I haven't heard anything other than innuendo. Usually you back up your opinions with much better facts JC. |
