whats the story with ferguson, how bad is the injury. if driver is out for a significant time and ferguson is okay, wow, he could go from being a sleeper to being a top 20 WR. tell me he is okay, please.

WOW! Sportsline is reporting Ferguson could miss the entire season, but I've learned the hard way not to trust their info.

If I see anything else confirming this, I'll post it....

au contraire mon frare(or something like that)

Ferguson is now considered to have only a sprained knee and ankle after undergoing an MRI on Monday. His knee is stable but his ankle is still tender but it will take a few days to determine if he can practice on it. He has not been officially ruled out of the Detroit game on Sunday though it seems unlikely that he will play. "I'd say it's realistic that I say I can play," Ferguson said. "The good thing is I have had it before and I can handle it. I know how to get back on the field from it."

I have Ferguson in both my money leagues, and this is frustrating as all get out. It's Wednesday, and there hasn't been a definitive word on him yet.

This from today's Milwaukee Journal-Sentinal:

Freeman's signing comes two days after the Packers lost receivers Donald Driver (neck, head), Robert Ferguson (ankle, knee) and Bailey (hamstring) to injury against the Minnesota Vikings.

Driver and Ferguson could be out several weeks and none of the three will play this week. That left the Packers with Walker and returner Antonio Chatman as the only two receivers on the roster.

**************************************************

Note where it says SEVERAL weeks. Yet, on the official injury report he's only "questionable". Could someone set the record straight please?

I was about to cut him because I thought he was out for the year, but it lookslike a month max and probably less. Now if only I could find a replacement for JJ Stokes
