For the Brewers, they have a thing called "the walk of fame". Players in the walk of fame get a big plaque in the ground all the walkway up to the front of the stadium. I imagine it's more or less a marketing thing, but I suppose it's sort of cool. I would imagine most teams have something like this.

I'm pretty sure the Yankees have had something like this for 70 years or so... used to be on the field, actually...
