I am typing this story now as I sit in 2C on Delta flight 759 on my way to Atlanta before finally getting back home to Orlando as I give the Atlanta airport a second chance this weekend after their problems on Friday threw a monkey wrench into our call-in show for Friday. How does the saying go Mr. President? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on, uh, you know? I'm sure there were many of us thinking that during these last few weeks as we came across some players that have burned us in the past and we swore they'd never find a spot on our roster this spring. |

I’ve been in Tout Wars since 2004 and have been in the Mixed League version all three years of its existence. Each year, Larry Schechter of SanlotShrink.com has been the Mixed League champion. While its difficult to go out gunning for someone at an auction, the memories of my 2006 meltdown and second place finish courtesy of Javier Vazquez will always sit fresh in my mind. I went in to this year’s auction determined to at least give Schechter a hard time, make him spend a couple extra bucks and hopefully throw him off his game enough to give someone else (read: me) a chance to win Tout Wars Mixed. |

It is 9:45 Arizona time as I sit at Carousel 2 waiting for my bag to arrive after a five hour flight from JFK. It has been a long day but I'd do it all over again.
