That acronym serves as the mantra for many fantasy players. Pitching prospects have become a high risk/reward feature because for every Mark Prior that comes about, there is a Ryan Anderson. Most owners just go the safe route and load up their reserve/futures roster with offensive prospects and let the other owners play with pitching prospect fire. That may be the safe way to go, but is it necessarily a smart strategy? As Mark Twain said, “Why not go out on a limb - - that is where the fruit is!” |
