RotoJunkie has been quite busy posting content and participating in a few projects on the internet series of tubes. Over the next two weeks, Jason Collette and John Hoyos will be penning guest columns at CBS Sportsline related to their experiences in Tout Wars. All season long, we have been participating in the MLB Blog Poll vote hosted by David Bloom at baseballhappenings.com. RotoJunkie is also participating in a baseball roundtable each week that includes participation from a host of well-known blogs as well as print writers. This week's topic was, "If you could only play in one fantasy baseball league a year, what type of league would you want to participate in?'"
Also, you can tune in to the latest Fantasy Fix Podcast (click here to subscribe via iTunes) as Stephen Webb and Jason resume a schedule now that Stephen is finally a proud home owner in the Republic of Texas. They will be recording later today.

RotoJunkie is once again participating in the Tout Wars expert league. Can we call it a success since Jason and John are not in last place in either league? Either way, you can stay up with the league standings by visiting the Tout Wars site. In the meantime, all the Tout participants are posting articles over at CBS Sportsline throughout the season (Jason and John have the next two spots) so you can read about what is happening in each league.
Many
Tout Wars players are writing weekly columns this year, which are
published at CBS Sportsline. This week, Todd Zola tackles the mixed league and what strategies he is employing to stay near the top of the standings so far. Read Todd's story here

Admit it, besides winning first place in your league, trade
negotiations are the best part about fantasy baseball. Is there anything better
than going back and forth for days, or weeks, to try to hammer out a trade? It
is rare that two owners value the same player at the same level and this leads
to a lot of hurt feelings or angry exchanges when trade offers show up in our
inbox. It happens, but in most cases, there can be a happy middle ground. Both
parties either come to an agreement or agree to disagree and move on. Either
way, it is a good experience because I maintain every trade negotiation is an
experience to build upon for future trade talks with that owner or other owners
in your league.

Robinson Cano came into 2008 with an average draft position in the low 60's and it is safe to assume that he is rostered in just about every league known to mankind right now. Yet, Cano trails only Troy Tulowitzki in offensive futility in 2008 at the start of the month of May. What gives?

I read to my son every night before we go to bed. He loves to look at the pictures in Dr. Seuss books and laughs at some of the rhymes in the books while not realizing that these funny stories are teaching him lessons. His favorite Dr. Seuss book happens to be Green Eggs and Ham and while I was reading it to him last night, I couldn't help but think about a certain young outfielder that I do not like in a house, or with a mouse. I do not like him here or there, I do not like him anywhere.
